limited time or wishing to extend a trip this tour is perfect.
Luang Prabang is nestled in the valleys of the mountainous
north, a former royal capital and now a World Heritage site.
This enchanting city, dominated by golden-roofed temples and
bright saffron-robed monks exudes a spiritual essence that will
surely capture your soul. The small capital city, Vientiane is
charming, with French style buildings and wide boulevards.

Day 1: Luang Prabang
The charming and beautiful town of Luang Prabang awaits to
enthrall you. Upon arrival at the airport transfer to a hotel in
town.
Day 2: Luang Prabang
This morning, enjoy a boat cruise on the Mekong River to the
holy caves of Pac Ou. In the afternoon, visit Vat Xieng Thong,
The Golden City monastery as well as the fine temples of Vat May
and Vat Vixoun.
Day 3: Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng
This morning drive south to Vang Vieng, stopping along the way
for ample photo opportunities of this beautiful country and a
chance to taste some local food for lunch (about 6 hours). On
arrival in Vang Vieng, check into the hotel and watch the sunset
over the distant hills.
Day 4: Vang Vieng
Today relax in Vang Vieng, or be as active as you wish. On your
own, you may choose to go cycling, kayaking, inner tubing,
caving or just relaxing on the banks of the Song River.
Day 5: Vang Vieng - Vientiane
After breakfast travel to Vientiane (about 3 hours). In the
afternoon enjoy a guided tour to the major temples of Vat
Sisaket, Vat Prakeo and the impressive That Luang Stupa. Also
see Patuxai, the Arch of Triumph and the Morning Market. In the
evening, stroll along the banks of the Mekong River in the
quiet, capital city.
Day 6: Depart Vientiane
Check out of the hotel to depart for the airport and onward
flight.
